OK....
Someone needs to tell all these people -Glezos and the anouncers - that "nomimos metanastis" means that he has work papers. He has to work for so many days per year. Otherwise, he has to go home (the "agora ergasias" does NOT need him). If he does NOT have the required number of work days per year then, "exei ekpesei tis nomimotitas" and he has to exit the country.

If someone has successfully renewed his work papers for 10 years straight then he no longer needs to renew their work permits. This change happened relatively recently - I think 2009. These people can be construed as "metanastes" albeit with no civil rights. In any case this law needs to be revoked. Otherwise we will have kids born in the country with no civil rights and as their numbers grow (along with their parents and the Greek allies, they will become a constant friction/problem).
